Why Solar?

  • Perennial, abundant and ever lasting source of energy
  • Clean Source, eliminating use of diesel generators and causes no noise and air pollution
  • Modular & scalable design
  • One time fixed cost for life
  • Virtually maintenance free
  • Photovoltaic technology id proven, reliable and has no moving part
  • 25 year performance warrantee on solar modules
  • Un-utilized space can be used for solar system

Solar PV system Types

Each type has very specific capabilities and limitations

All PV systems consist of one or more modules which produce DC power.  It is what is done with this power after it is produced that determines the type of system.

  • On Grid: Grid synchronized Modules, and inverter connected to the power grid
  • Off Grid: Grid Isolated, battery operated Modules, charge controller, batteries, and may or may not have an inverter which converts DC power to A/c power
  • Hybrid system: Modules, grid-tie inverter, and batteries for storage when the grid is unavailable

Key Benefits

  • Photovoltaic roof-top installations at the tail-end of the grid can enhance grid-stability and reduce losses
  • Savings in land requirement and costs
  • Savings in development of new transmission infrastructure
  • Creation of value from under-utilized /unutilized rooftops
  • Good choice for distributed power generation system
  • PV can enhance esthetics of buildings
  • Reduces dependency on grid power
  • Long term reliable power source
  • Mitigates diesel generator dependency
